Further exciting growth occurred from 2000 onwards when the brand increased its store portfolio to over 246 shops, selling laminate flooring as a great value alternative to carpet and vinyl.
Carpetright opened a brand-new head office and warehouses in Purfleet, Essex back in the late 2000s, then expanded their range of beds and mattresses through the acquisition of bed retailer Sleepright in 2008. Further modernisation happened in 2009 with the launch of an online store, followed by the roll-out of a store refurbishment programme in 2012 and a subsequent re-brand in 2016.
